Is this a Fertility Test?

The Zonas test won’t tell you if you’re infertile, but can screen for PCOS, early menopause and your ovarian reserve.
Your hormones can tell you more about your reproductive journey.
Testing and tracking hormones over time can allow informed decisions to be made about:

We want to empower women to be one step ahead in their fertility journey.

What can I learn from the test?

1. Your ovarian reserve – whether you have more or less eggs than average for your age.
2. Screen for PCOS –1 in 10 women of reproductive age have PCOS. Hormones can screen for PCOS (not diagnose).
3. Your fertile years – whether you are at risk of early menopause and how close you are.
4. Egg freezing and IVF patients – whether you’d be able to collect more or less eggs for these procedures.

AMH is the most reliable blood marker for ovarian reserve.

You are born with around 1 million eggs and these are all the eggs you will ever have in your life. As you get older, the AMH levels declines and so does the number and quality of eggs.

Anti-mullerian hormone (AMH) is a hormone produced from small follicles in the ovary. The amount of AMH in blood reflects the number of viable eggs and quality of eggs in the ovaries (ovarian reserve). This is currently the best marker of ovarian reserve.

The Zonas Test will indicate whether your AMH levels are normal for your age and whether you are likely to reach menopause at the expected time. The hormones can’t give an exact number of eggs in the ovaries or give the number of fertile years left before menopause.

Transforming hormones into health insights

As you age, AMH declines. The rate of decline can differ in each person and is dependent on lifestyle and medical factors.

With regular AMH readings, you can track your AMH levels over time and can assess how fast the decline is in hormone level.
